PROJECT CSP/CRX
The broken taillight should say it all...
This car was being restored by a long-time friend of mine, with 5,000 miles on the new motor a conecting rod decided that it didnt like its new home! A little bargaining and I secured a autocrosser for J.
From 7pm to 10pm the first night- J, Tony, and I stripped the interior and pulled the motor
Needless to say this car was a mess, we would need a motor, fender, door, wheels, suspension........

We started on the inside- In one Saturday we stripped up all of the sound deadening material, sanded, preped, and painted the floor!
You can see the begining of a seat bracket and the sheet metal dash I made to replace the "painted" center console
So far we have about 5 days into the car- the deadline for Spring test and tune is March 20th!
This is the EVO for my Rally Si, it will see double duty!
The CRX is being built to race as a CSP autocross car. It will carry a modified D16Y6 with an Si transmision. Shocks will be yellow Koni's and springs will be heavy Ground Control coil-overs. Bushings are set to be Energy Suspension. We have yet to figure out what wheels the car will wear but we are thinking 13x7 steel to start with Hoosier "autocross" tires. Thats all for now I'll keep the site updated!
