The purpose of this site is to provide a database of information surrounding rally racing the Honda Civic. I am by no means a professional driver or mechanic, I have yet to see a site dedicated to the topic so I started this page. As well I am not a web designer! This page is just a pilot, if there is interest and people wish to contribute, then I will defiantly upgrade the page. As for now I hope this can be the humble start to a great source of information for anyone interested in rallying a Civic.
My Rally Civic
It started simple enough; a seventeen-year-old girl rear-ended my 1990 Mazda Miata- a car I had just recently started racing SCCA Solo2 in. The car was repairable but I didn’t want to continue to risk the car by using it as a daily driver and commuter to school. So dollars later I’m the proud owner of a 1991 Civic Si, with 266,000 miles and rod knock. The plan was to do a JDM engine swap, freshen the suspension and brakes and call it a day, yeah right- As fate has it I opened an older issue of Sport Compact Car to fin an article entitled Rally Round the Civic, damn it this car was supposed to remain stock, oh well- The rest you can deduce for yourself.
